Prize Fund Dispersion
National Team Projects: For athletes selected and participating in national team projects, your assigned High Performance Project Coordinator will keep track of prize money and communicate this information to the High Performance Coordinator (HPC). The HPC will follow-up with each athlete who has won prize money on the project and notify them once the prize money will be dispersed into their account. Athletes may additionally choose to fill in the prize money request form if they wish to additionally notify the HPC of their prize funds. This can serve as an optional notification.
Non-National Team Projects: For athletes competing at international races independently from Cycling Canada projects, where an expected prize money amount is awarded, you will be required to fill in the prize money request form. This form is to only be filled in when it has been communicated to you from the race organizers that prize funds will be transferred to the National Federation and then it will be the National Federation’s responsibility to transfer the funds to the athletes. The form serves as a way for us to keep track of prize money requests.
