Winter cycling in Saskatchewan is thriving thanks to the passion of riders and volunteers who make it happen! ❄️🚲
The Regina Fat Bike Trail System is an example: what began in 2020 with hand‑groomed trails, snowshoes, and homemade equipment has grown into a 13 km winter network in the heart of Wascana Park. The result? Stronger community connections and a thriving winter riding culture across Regina 🤝✨
With strong partnerships now in place, between the Offroad Syndicate Mountain Bike Club (ORS), the Provincial Capital Commission, and the City of Regina, the focus has shifted from building the trail system to elevating it. From fundraising over $6,000 for SnowDog groomers to expanding volunteer capacity and improving trail quality, the community continues to enhance winter recreation opportunities for riders, walkers, and snowshoers alike ❤️🇨🇦

Le cyclisme hivernal en Saskatchewan est en plein essor grâce à la passion des cyclistes et des bénévoles qui le rendent possible ! ❄️🚲
Le réseau de pistes de fat bike de Regina en est un bon exemple : ce qui a commencé en 2020 avec des pistes damées à la main, des raquettes et du matériel artisanal s`est transformé en un réseau hivernal de 13 km au cœur du parc Wascana. Le résultat ? Des liens communautaires renforcés et une culture florissante du vélo d`hiver à travers Regina 🤝✨
Grâce aux partenariats solides désormais en place entre l’Offroad Syndicate Mountain Bike Club (ORS), la Commission de la capitale provinciale et la ville de Regina, l’accent n’est plus mis sur la construction du réseau de pistes, mais sur son amélioration. Qu`il s`agisse de collecter plus de 6 000 dollars pour l`achat de dameuses SnowDog, d`augmenter les effectifs de bénévoles ou d`améliorer la qualité des sentiers, la communauté continue d`enrichir les possibilités de loisirs hivernaux pour les cyclistes, les marcheurs et les randonneurs en raquettes ❤️🇨🇦
