JAYE MILLEY ADDS SECOND BRONZE TO TALLY AT PARA-CYCLING WORLD CHAMPIONSHIPS
Canadian cyclist once again on the podium in Mexico
(Aguascalientes, MEX – April 12, 2014) Calgary’s Jaye Milley captured his second bronze medal of the 2014 UCI Para-Cycling Track World Championships, posting the third fastest time in the 1000m time trial race, the kilo race.
A day after winning the bronze medal in the individual pursuit, Milley rode the solo, 1000-meter time trial race with a time of 1:20.132, averaging a speed of 44.96 km/h.
Braydon McDougall, also of Calgary, AB, finished fifth of the same race, posting a time of 1:22.245.
Marie-Claude Molnar of St-Hubert, QC finished fifth in the women’s C4 individual pursuit, posting a time of 4:13.294. The four fastest time qualified for the finals.
The 2014 UCI Para-Cycling Track World Championships, which are held in Aguascalientes, Mexico, ends, tomorrow.
