MEET CANADA’S 2016 TRACK CYCLING TEAM – RIO 2016 OLYMPIC/PARALYMPIC SEND OFF RACE AND BBQ
On July 29th, Cycling Canada invites you to come and meet the athletes from the Canadian Track Cycling Team at a special Rio 2016 Olympic Ride Off and Barbecue event at the Mattamy National Cycling Centre in Milton, ON.
Canada’s Women’s Team Pursuit squad will compete in a special exhibition race facing off against the Men’s Paralympic Tandem in a head-to-head race simulation. Media are invited to come a capture content prior to the team’s departure to Rio and celebrate track cycling with a send-off BBQ hosted by Mattamy Homes.
This is a free event for the media and the general public. Cycling fans will be able to see the Olympic and Paralympic teams in action, and have a chance to interact with the group prior to their departure for the Rio 2016 Games.
Athletes, coaches and high performance staff from Cycling Canada will be on-hands to answer any questions before they make their way the Olympic and Paralympic Games.
