REGISTRATION NOW ACTIVE FOR 2013 CANADIAN TRACK CYCLING CHAMPIONSHIPS
Cyclists can now register online for the top domestic track cycling races on the 2013 calendar
(Dieppe, NB – August 09, 2013) The registration process is now active for the 2013 Canadian Track Cycling Championships presented by Mike’s Bike Shop, scheduled for August 27 to September 1 at the Dieppe Vélodrome in Dieppe, NB, announced the governing body for competitive cycling in Canada, Cycling Canada.
The event will feature many track cycling races featuring cyclists in junior, elite and masters categories, including Olympians and National Team members alike.

“The National Cycling Centre – Atlantic Canada hosted this event in 2012, and the organizers have done a stellar job in the providing a competitive platform just after the Olympic Games. Now, they get, to kick start this new Olympic cycle with a fresh slate and energized riders,” said Mathieu Boucher, Domestic Performance Director at Cycling Canada. “The organizing committee led by Charles Cormier is experienced in hosting these events, and we are extremely confident that they will raise the bar in the second of their two-year mandate.”

The 2013 Canadian Track Cycling Championships presented by Mikes Bike Shop is Canada’s top domestic track cycling event. The event annually attracts some of the country’s best track riders challenging for the Red and White Jersey awarded to the Canadian Champions. Organized by the National Cycling Centre – Atlantic Canada in Dieppe, NB and hosted at the Dieppe Velodrome, the event is governed by the Cycling Canada, a member of the International Cycling Union (UCI).
The 2013 Canadian Track Cycling Championships presented by Mikes Bike Shop is made possible thanks to the close collaboration between Cycling Canada, VeloNB and the National Cycling Centre – Atlantic Canada. The event will be held from August 27 to September 1, and showcases racing in the Junior, Elite and Masters categories.
