In celebration of the 2026 UCI Road Cycling World Championships in Montréal, Cycling Canada has partnered with Canadian performance bike leader Argon 18 to create something truly exceptional: a limited-edition Team Canada Nitrogen Pro (SRAM Red AXS spec., MSRP: $18,495), built to the exacting standards of the Home Team.
Only a handful of these custom-designed Canuck colourway bikes exist—and for a limited time, four of them will be made available to the public for bid. These are not replicas—they are official Team Canada race spares, destined for use at Road Worlds before being released to the highest bidders. This is a rare opportunity to own a piece of Canadian cycling history, engineered for world-class performance and inspired by a defining moment on home soil.
The Nitrogen Pro from Argon 18 represents the pinnacle of road race engineering. The R&D team of the Montreal based company went through 130 iterations of frame design before landing on the finished product. Total package optimization was the key, truncated NACA profiles for the tubing is great. But the ride feel and comfort were equally important in the brief. If you’re too uncomfortable to put down the watts, then all the aero savings in the world won’t do much for you. That’s great news for the lucky ones among us who end up with this bike. Sure, the Montreal course will be freshly paved. But Canadian roads are certainly known for their character.
Full of fun easter eggs, Argon 18 paired Montreal’s sporting heritage with modern engineering. On the down tube and fork, you’ll find a tone-on-tone checkered pattern. A nod to that other Grand Prix that happens in the city. The back of the seat tube is adorned with the same logos as the commemorative MTL26 race jersey. Designs inspired by Expo 67 and the Olympic posters from 1976.
