In addition to contributing to our programs and athletes’ long-term success, your annual donation provides you with membership to an exclusive club of like-minded people and organizations who share your passion for cycling. Club 1882 currently has four levels of membership, each offering exclusive benefit options.
Major Donors
The support of major donors remains instrumental in removing the financial barriers faced by National Team athletes and underfunded National Team programs. As such, the recognition of Gold, Silver and Bronze Tier Club 1882 donations aims to drive direct impact to National Team projects and programming, with targeted support carefully and collaboratively selected alongside the donor. Project/programming fees in need of support are outlined in full-transparency, with opportunities for major donors to cover some-or-all of the cost of any particular project, discipline or program of their choosing.
Donors will receive direct consultation from Cycling Canada staff while offered the opportunity to provide direct feedback throughout the fundraising process.
In recognition of Cycling Canada’s year of inauguration, Club 1882 also recognizes all donations made at a minimum threshold of $1,882 annually within the “Core” tier. Similar to the major donation tiers above, those donating at the Core level may request that funds are earmarked to specified national team projects or disciplines, and will receive unique benefits as a recognized Club 1882 donor.
