The 2025 Canadian Road Championships are set to take place in Saint-Georges, Québec from June 27 to June 30. Organized by Grand Prix Cyclistes de Beauce, this event will bring together the nation’s top cyclists in the Elite, Junior, U17, and Para categories to compete for national titles. Following successful editions, this year’s championship returns to Québec’s Beauce region in Saint-Georges, a location renowned for its cycling culture and challenging terrain, for four exciting days of national level racing.
“We are thrilled to return to Saint-Georges, Quebec for the 2025 Canadian Road Championships, where Canada’s top Elite, U23, Junior, U17, and Para athletes will compete for the Canadian Champion title. This event is a celebration of both present and future of Canadian road cycling talent, showcasing rising stars to seasoned champions,” says Cycling Canada’s Events and Officials coordinator Alex Joubert. “We look forward to an exciting week of racing and are proud to work with such an experienced local organizing committee and supportive community that continues to raise the bar for our national level cycling races.”
Several top performers from last year’s Canadian Road Championships are set to return and compete for consecutive titles. Pier-André Côté, the 2024 national time trial champion and road race silver medalist, returns to the start line with strong ambitions for another standout performance. Olivia Baril and Magdeleine Vallières-Mill will be back to compete for the road race title, bringing intensity and determination to the competition once again.
Athletes will compete in three disciplines: individual time trial, road race, and criterium. Cycling Canada will also host its Athlete Advancement & Education Seminar for U17 and Junior athletes, aimed at supporting their development both on and off the bike. Scheduled for June 26, this seminar will provide valuable insights from National Team coaches and experienced athletes. The championships will also offer public engagement zones, local vendor support, and exciting spectating opportunities throughout the downtown Criterium circuit, creating a vibrant atmosphere for athletes and spectators alike.
