CANADIAN TEAM SET TO COMPETE AT 2025 UCI ENDURO WORLD CHAMPIONSHIPS IN SWITZERLAND

OTTAWA, ON (August 30, 2025) – Cycling Canada is proud to announce the mountain bike athletes who will represent Canada at the 2025 UCI Enduro World Championships, taking place from September 1 to 2 in the Aletsch Arena and Bellwald region of Valais, Switzerland as part of the UCI Mountain Bike World Championships.

Set against the backdrop of the Aletsch Glacier, the longest in the Alps, the Enduro World Championships will challenge riders with a series of timed descents across rugged alpine terrain, including trails through Riederalp, Bettmeralp, Fiesch-Eggishorn, and Bellwald, with the event hub and finish line in Fiesch.

Canada’s delegation features a talented mix of elite and junior athletes, all competing as Privateers under Cycling Canada’s Privateer Policy. Among them, Elly Hoskin enters the championships with strong momentum, having won two World Cups this season and emerging as a serious podium contender. Jesse Melamed, currently ranked second in the world, is laser-focused on capturing gold in Switzerland. Meanwhile, Lief Rodges, fresh off a third-place finish at the last World Cup, is preparing for another standout performance on the global stage.
