OTTAWA, ON (October 7, 2025) – Cycling Canada is proud to celebrate the return of the WHOOP UCI Mountain Bike World Series to Mont-Sainte-Anne from October 9–12, 2025, marking the 30th anniversary of World Cup racing at one of the sport’s most iconic venues.
As the final stop of the 2025 WHOOP UCI Mountain Bike World Series, Mont-Sainte-Anne will host competitions across Cross-Country Olympic (XCO), Cross-Country Short Track (XCC), and Downhill (DHI) disciplines. The event will once again welcome the world’s top athletes for a weekend of high stakes racing and community celebration. “Mont Sainte Anne has been a major influence on Canadian mountain bike racing for 30 years.” stated Cycling Canada National Team Coach and Mont-Sainte-Anne gold medalist, Catharine Pendrel. “For many Canadian racers it was their first World Cup experience, their inspiration or their big season goal. It’s a point of pride for all of us that it is one of the most loved and most respected courses on the circuit. Thank you MSA for all that you have done for Canadians and raising the level of our sport!”
Since first hosting a World Cup in 1991, Mont-Sainte-Anne has become a cornerstone of the international mountain bike calendar, staging three UCI World Championships (1998, 2010, 2019), 30 UCI World Cups and countless unforgettable moments. From October 9–12, fans and athletes alike will enjoy four days of action, set against a vibrant festival backdrop that includes live music, an expo village, and community activations.
For Canadians, the 30th anniversary of World Cup racing at Mont-Sainte-Anne is a moment of national pride and reflection. It celebrates three decades of homegrown excellence and the enduring spirit of Canadian mountain biking.
