CYCLING CANADA SHARES KEY UPDATES ON 2026 TRACK CALENDAR 

OTTAWA, ON (October 22, 2025) – Cycling Canada is pleased to announce key details for the 2026 national track calendar, including confirmed dates and locations for three major events: the Bromont UCI C2, the Canadian Track Championships (Elite/Masters/Para) in Bromont, and the Canadian Track Championships (Junior/U17) in Edmonton. 

The Bromont UCI C2 will return to the Vélodrome Sylvan Adams – Centre Multisports Desjardins, on January 6–7, 2026, offering athletes a high-calibre international competition to kick off the season. As Canada’s only international track cycling event in 2026, it presents a rare opportunity for domestic and international riders to compete on home soil. The Canadian Track Championships (Elite/Masters/Para) will follow from January 9–11, 2026, also at the Vélodrome Sylvan Adams, bringing together top athletes from across categories to compete for national titles. To register or view the technical guide, please click here

Also confirmed is the 2026 Canadian Track Championships (Junior/U17), which will take place from March 27–29 at the newly constructed Coronation Park Sport and Recreation Centre in Edmonton, Alberta. Organized by the Alberta Velodrome Association, this event marks the first national championship to be hosted at Canada’s newest indoor velodrome. Cycling Canada is proud to bring high-level racing to this world-class facility, which promises to be a transformative addition to the Canadian track cycling landscape.
