OTTAWA, ON (November 12, 2025) – Canada’s top cyclo-cross athletes are gearing up for three days of high-intensity racing at the 2025 LAZER Canadian Cyclo-Cross Championships and Trek National CX Challenge C1. Set against the scenic backdrop of Lévis, QC, the event will close out the 2025 Canadian Championships season from November 14–16 with a full schedule of national titles and community celebration.
“We are excited to return to Lévis, QC for the 2025 edition of the LAZER Canadian Cyclo-Cross Championships, organized by the passionate and committed Club CX418,” says Alex Joubert, Cycling Canada Events and Officials Coordinator. “This year, they’ve elevated the event by upgrading the Sunday race to a UCI C1 status, offering riders an opportunity to compete for increased points and prize money. With a focus on delivering a world-class experience, riders can again expect a course and an event that will promote cyclo-cross nationally and position Canadian athletes for success on the UCI CX calendar.”
Hosted by CX418, the event will open Friday with the relay race, followed by Saturday’s Canadian Championships where athletes will compete for national titles across U17, Junior, U23, Elite, and Masters categories. Sunday’s Trek National CX Challenge will close out the weekend with UCI C1 races for Junior and Elite categories, alongside Open Sport, youth, U17, and Masters events that invite broader community participation and showcase a full range of racing talent.
A competitive group of national champions will return in 2025 to defend their titles across their respective categories, including Alexa Haviland, Aroussen Laflamme, Carter Deveer, Émilien Belzile, Eric Jeannotte, Jean-François Blais, Kelly Welbourn, Rafaëlle Carrier, and Sue Haviland.
Spectators are invited to experience the action up close and cheer on Canada’s top athletes as they take on the challenging course of Parc de la Rivière-Etchemin. Come join us for the final Canadian Championships of the 2025 season!
