In a show of solidarity for this important cause, ALL event participants will ride in the Cycling Canada National Team kit, first unveiled at the inaugural UCI Cycling Esports World Championships. Guest Riders

Catherine Pendrel – A three-time Olympian and Rio 2016 Olympic Games medallist. Retiring following the Tokyo 2020 Games, she has now made the transition from athlete to National Team Coach as she passes on her experience and expertise to future generations of riders.

Joey Desjardins – After picking up handcycling in 2009 for fun, Joey Desjardins soon made the switch from recreation to high performance making competing at the 2017-2019 Road World Championships before making his debut at the Tokyo 2020 Paralympic Games. In Tokyo, he was Canada’s top finisher with an eighth and 11th place.

Keely Shaw – Keely Shaw has seen nothing but success throughout her time int he sport after picking up cycling in 2016. Most recently, Shaw won Canada’s first Paralympic medal at the 2020 Paralympic Games in Tokyo where she rode to a bronze in the women’s C4 3000m Individual Pursuit in her Games debut. Racing both road and track disciplines the Saskachewan native also saw success at Canadian Track Championships winning national titles in both the Time Trial and Individual Pursuit.

Charles Moreau – The two-time Paralympic Games medallist, Charles Moreau, is no stranger to the international racing scene. His nearly decade-long experience racing amongst the best in the world makes him a veteran in handcycling with two bronze medals at the Rio 2016 Paralympic Games in his respective category along with multiple medals on the World Cup circuit and at the World Championships.

Vincent de Haître – Vincent de Haître is a three-time dual Olympian competing at both the summer and winter Olympics Games in both the men’s Team Pursuit and long-track speed skating. making his summer games debut in Tokyo, he alongside his Team Pursuit teammates broke the Canadian record and was just shy off the podium where they came in fifth at the Games.

Marie-Eve Croteau – Marie-Eve Croteau has become one of Canada’s most successful international Para Cyclists earning multiple World Championship and World Cup titles throughout her career spanning over a decade. Most recently she raced at the Tokyo 202 Paralympic Games making it her third Games team, showing her depth in the sport.
