The BMX Racing team kicked off its World Cup season with a standout performance from Molly Simpson, who delivered elite women’s gold in Round 1 and silver in Round 2 in Sarrians, France. Simpson finished third overall in the 2025 BMX Racing World Cup series marking the highest overall ranking ever achieved by a Canadian woman in the BMX World Cup series.

On the men’s side, Ryan Tougas was Canada’s top finisher, placing 14th in the elite men’s event during Round 2. Canada’s roster for rounds 1 and 2 included Dylan Tremel, Jacob Kaiser, Keira Murphy, Lucas Zhou, Molly Simpson, Ryan Tougas, Thomas Jodoin, Zakary Kaiser, Dallen Brereton‑Stiles, Jaxson Ross, Laurianne Béland, Payton Duffy, Thessalie Bruneau, and Victoria Dubé with strong performances to start the season across the board.
