OTTAWA, ON, (October 2, 2025)– Cycling Canada is proud to announce that the 2025 Canadian BMX Freestyle Championships will be held at the Centre national de cyclisme (National Training Centre) in Bromont, Quebec, on October 4, 2025. This marks the second consecutive year the national championships will take place at the Centre national de cyclisme de Bromont (CNCB), a venue renowned for its commitment to freestyle development and athlete progression.
The 2025 Championships will bring together the best of Canadian BMX Freestyle, from grassroots athletes to national team members, to compete in the freestyle zone at the CNCB. This year’s event will serve as both the Canadian BMX Freestyle Championships and the Quebec Championships. In the Elite Men and Women divisions, riders will compete for both Canadian and Quebec Champion titles. Additionally, the FQSC Open 14 & under category will crown a Quebec Champion, recognizing top provincial talent alongside national contenders.

With top talent already confirmed, fans can expect a thrilling weekend of BMX action. 2024 Elite Women’s champion Alexandra Laforest is back to defend her title, joined by reigning Elite Men’s winner Maxime Chalifour. Also registered is Jefferey Whaley, who represented Canada at the 2024 Olympic Games, bringing world-class experience to the field.
Spectators are required to purchase tickets, with public access to the venue beginning at 5:30 PM on Saturday. Competition and athlete activities begin earlier in the day, starting with official practice at 8:00 AM.
