Ottawa, ON (July 25, 2025) – Cycling Canada is pleased to announce the official 2026 Canadian Championships Calendar, showcasing the nation’s top cyclists across all disciplines. The year ahead promises a broad range of competition venues, national titles on the line, and powerful development opportunities for Canada’s cycling community. Right now, paracycling is integrated into track and road events only, in coordination with the UCI framework.
Events and Officials Manager, Jen Eaton, says, “The 2026 Canadian Championships will once again highlight the strength and spirit of Canada’s cycling community. With events held across the nation in unique and iconic locations, we’re proud to offer athletes the opportunity to chase their dreams of wearing the prized maple leaf, while also inspiring future generations to embrace the sport. The Canadian Championships are more than just competitions, they’re celebrations of excellence, dedication, and the power of sport that unites us all.”
TRACK
Track cyclists will open the year with the Canadian Track Championships (Elite/Masters/Para) from January 8 to 11 in Bromont, QC. The Junior and U17 Track Championships will return on March 27 to 29 in Edmonton, AB.
ROAD
The 2026 Canadian Road Championships for Elite, Junior, U17, and Para categories will return to St. Georges, QC from June 25 to June 28, hosted once again by the Grand Prix Cycliste de Beauce. The Masters Championships will follow in Calgary, AB from August 1 to 3, organized by Bow Cycle and Sports.
MOUNTAIN BIKE
The 2026 Canadian Enduro MTB Championships will kick off from September 12 to 13 in Bromont, QC. Cross-country mountain bike athletes will gather in Langford, BC from July 16 to 19 for the XCO and XCC Canadian Championships, organized by Wheelhouse Cycling Society. Finally, the Canadian Downhill MTB Championships will take place at Sun Peaks, BC, from July 25 to 26. The 2026 Canadian XCM Championships will take place in Sault Ste. Marie on September 5.
BMX
The 2026 Canadian BMX Championships will run from August 29 to 30 in St. Albert, AB alongside Canada Cup racing. St. Albert BMX Association will serve as host for the weekend of racing. The Canadian Freestyle BMX Championships will take place in Bromont, QC on October 24, at the Centre National de cyclisme de Bromont.
GRAVEL
The Canadian Gravel Championships will be hosted in Duncan, BC from June 13 to 14. Panache Cycling Sports Ltd. returns to organize what has become one of the most dynamic events on the calendar.
CYCLO-CROSS
The 2026 Canadian Cyclo-Cross Championships will take place in Oro-Medonte, ON from October 31 to November 1.
E-SPORTS
The Canadian Esports Championships will be held virtually on February 7 and 8, continuing to engage athletes through innovative digital platforms.
All national championships are sanctioned by the Union Cycliste Internationale (UCI) and serve as key benchmarks for athlete development and international qualification. Complete event details and updates will be available throughout the season on the Cycling Canada Event page so stay tuned!
