OTTAWA, ON (May 5, 2026) – Cycling Canada is pleased to confirm the three teams registered as Cycling Canada UCI Trade Teams for the 2026 season. These teams will represent Canada at UCI‑sanctioned mountain bike events throughout the year, supporting the continued development of high‑performance athletes and strengthening Canada’s presence on the international stage.
The 2026 UCI Trade Teams are:
A UCI Trade Team is a cycling team registered directly with the Union Cycliste Internationale and operating within a single discipline. Made up exclusively of U23 and Elite athletes, these teams gain access to events on the UCI International Calendar, giving Canadian riders valuable exposure to high‑level competition and a clear pathway toward major race opportunities in the future.
Pivot Cycles highlighted their enthusiasm for the season, “Pivot Cycles-OTE’s Continental division is proud to be registered as a Cycling Canada Trade Team for 2026. Through this program, we support the next generation of mountain bike athletes by giving them the opportunity to compete in the Continental series and North American UCI events. Our mission is to help these riders reach new levels of performance and prepare them for the demands of the World Cup circuit.”
