OTTAWA, ON (May 29, 2026) – Cycling Canada is thrilled to confirm the athletes selected to represent Canada at the opening four rounds of the 2026 UCI BMX Racing World Cup in France and the Netherlands, marking the start of a packed year of BMX racing for the national team. This block of racing will see Canadian riders compete across World Cups 1–4 as they build toward the World Championships.
Canada’s full‑tour roster for World Cups 1–4 includes Dylan Tremel, Jacob Kaiser, Keira Murphy, Lucas Zhou, Molly Simpson, Ryan Tougas, Thomas Jodoin, and Zakary Kaiser, each set to compete all four rounds.
Molly Simpson is going into the season with a third overall ranking in the 2025 BMX Racing World Cup series. Simpson’s third-place finish marked the highest overall ranking ever achieved by a Canadian woman in the BMX World Cup series. Alongside her is Lucas Zhou, junior men’s bronze medalist at the 2025 BMX Racing World Championships.
A targeted group will join the team for the European openers at World Cups 1–2 in Sarrians, France, featuring Dallen Brereton‑Stiles, Jaxson Ross, Laurianne Béland, Payton Duffy, Thessalie Bruneau, and Victoria Dubé.
The final summer block at World Cups 3–4 in Papendal, Netherlands will see Alexis Rhéaume, Chad Beaudoin, Charlie Théberge, Christophe Allaire, Jack Cerney, and Ryley Cofield joining the lineup.
With a strong mix of emerging talent and experienced World Cup athletes, Cycling Canada looks forward to an exciting month of racing across the BMX calendar.
