Clothing

Per UCI Regulations, “It is mandatory for a rider to wear their national kit at the UCI Gran Fondo World Championships Time Trial, Team Relay and Road Race. Although the official national jersey is not required, a jersey representing their country with a similar design and colours as the original national team jersey is required.”

Those who have qualified for the UCI World Gran Fondo Championships must wear a Cycling Canada-approved kit. The sole kit design approved for use by Canadian athletes participating at the UCI Gran Fondo World Championships is the “Community” collection, which can be ordered online here.

Additionally, Cycling Canada, in collaboration with Official on-bike apparel partner Louis Garneau, has created a special edition long sleeve skinsuit available for purchase online (click here) until July 7th. This skinsuit meets the pre-approved kit design standards required of athletes competing at the event, alongside our “Community” collection of bibs, jerseys and short sleeve skinsuits linked above. Those purchasing the limited edition skinsuit can expect delivery directly from Garneau no later than August 16th.

*Please note that it is not possible for participants to compete in the National Team red and white skinsuit used by the Canadian National Team.
